Well, there's still a foot of snow on the ground around here, but I have spring fever . . . . . honestly, can't wait for some green grass and warm sunshine. But seeing how that's in short supply around here, I've had to make my own, haha! There's lots of spring goodness in this blog post, so read carefully!
For starters, I've heard your pleas and created a set of sunflare actions for Photoshop, the Sunshine Action set. This fabulous little set is similar to my Sunflare Presets for Lightroom 2 (though not identical), but instead works in Photoshop CS-CS4. This wonderful set will add a burst of sun instantly to any photo.
A before and after . . . .
To see more details about this new set and view more before and after images, please visit http://shop.nicholeV.com. And of course, I can't launch a new action set without a coupon code, so enter this coupon code to receive 10% off your entire purchase of Flourish Emporium
products!

City and new Lighting Workshops on July 16-17 and September
17-18. And best of all, I am
now offering my Lighting Workshops to everyone, even those who have never attended one of my
workshops in the past. But hurry! I expect that the Lighting Workshops will
fill quickly as they are limited to only 12 people. Visit http://workshops.nicholeV.com
to see all the details. And how's about a coupon code?! Enter this code at
checkout to receive $50 off your purchase of the Workshop in a Box:

All coupon codes will expire on Friday, April 16, 2010.
And what's even better than
owning the Workshop in a Box? Winning one for free, of course! The workshop in a box has been such a huge success that we're going to give one away for free. Yes, we're giving away a $549 {life as art} Workshop in a Box to one lucky person.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've had a spot open up in my March workshop next week, March 25-27 in Salt Lake City. Well, we are headed off to WPPI's (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) annual convention in just a couple days. It promises to amazing fun mingling with 10,000+ other professional photographers for 5 days! I'm also stoked to be part of WPPI this year. I'm teaching a MasterClass that, yes, is sold out.
But if you missed the MasterClass, you can still see me in action.
I will be helping out at the Thirst Relief booth from 11 to noon on Monday, March 8th. And I will have 20% off coupons for Flourish for anyone who stops by the booth to say hi.
Also, I will be doing a Photoshop tutorial demo at the ProDPI booth from 3:00-3:45 on Tuesday, March 9th. The tutorial will focus on how to effectively use textures in photos. So stop by and see some Photoshop fun and check out ProDPI's amazing press products, while you're at it! This is the kind of editing that I will be covering, how to integrate textures like this. Can't wait to see you there!

Well, I'm excited to announce that my new Ethereal Action and Texture set is now available. I've been working hard on it for a while now and so love everything about it. And my testers are raving that it's my best set yet. This new action
set creates a dreamy, hazy look, turning everyday photos into
mini-masterpieces. Best of all, the actions bring out details in shadows and
darken blown highlights, saving seemingly ruined photos. This set includes 21
actions, 4 textures and a detailed video tutorial. To see all the details, visit my Flourish Emporium website:
